The "Power to Make Biology" Event

On May 8, 2025, the Ajinomoto Group Innovation Strategy team hosted a special event featuring Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services and Forge Biologics at LabCentral. We were thrilled to see many members of the Boston biotech community join us for exciting conversations on how the Ajinomoto Group can collaborate with local innovators.  

Throughout the event, Forge Biologics and Ajinomoto Co., Inc. experts explored key areas of Ajinomoto Group’s Biotech capabilities, including: 

• Advancements in adeno-associated virus (AAV) manufacturing at Forge Biologics (Presented by Tony Rivett, Director of Client Development at Forge Biologics).

• The benefits of high-precision and scalable antibody drug conjugate (ADC) manufacturing with AJICAP® (Presented by Hiroki Imai, Associate General Manager of Business Development at Ajinomoto Co., Inc.).
  

• The large-scale manufacturing of oligonucleotides and ribonucleic acids (RNAs) in AJIPHASE®’s liquid phase synthesis (Presented by Tai Ichimaru, Senior Director of Business Development at Forge Biologics).

• Cost-effective variable heavy domain of heavy-chain (VHH) conjugates and long-chain peptides manufacturing with CORYNEX® (Presented by Masa Kuroda, Director of Client Development at Forge Biologics).
